The Pension Fund, established in 1987, is a public entity with administrative, financial and assets management autonomy, under the supervision of the Secretary for Administration and Justice. Its main duties include management and implementation of the Provident Fund Scheme and the Retirement, Widow and Orphans’ Pensions Scheme for workers in the public services.
